THE HOTEL Les Bruyères in the heart of the Alpe d'Huez

Welcome to the Hotel les Bruyères in l’Alpe d'Huez. A human-sized establishment very well located, composed of a warm and friendly team. Our goal: To allow you to stay in a mountain hotel offering a service at a reasonable price, providing the basics whilst offering close proximity to the infrastructure of the resort! In short, the ideal when you want to fully enjoy the charms of the mountains!

A hotel at the foot of the slopes of l’Alpe d'Huez

You would like to enjoy the 250 kilometers of slopes of the Alpe d'Huez area At 1800 meters above sea level, in the heart of the resort, our hotel is only 80 meters from the ski lifts, when the snow is sufficient you can even arrive from the slopes at the foot of the hotel! This is a major advantage especially after a very sporty day.

Close to shops

We are situated at the top of the Avenue des Jeaux. You will find many shops: restaurants, supermarkets, newspaper shops, souvenir shops etc ... But also bars including the New Sphère which is litteraly located at the foot of our hotel. In addition down l’Avenue des Jeaux you will find the municipal swimming pool, the skating rink then further beyond the Sports Palace (which also proposes cultural events and has several cinemas).

A mountain hotel facing due south

L’Alpe d'Huez is nicknamed "the island in the sun", and you will be pleased to know that we have two terraces facing south. The holidays in the mountains is also being able to bask in the sun and enjoy the Alpine landscape. It is not only on the slopes that you will sunbathe!

An establishment that is easy to reach

If you wish to travel by car, you can easily park your car in a public paying car park located under Le Cristal de l'Alpe, 100 meters from the hotel (15 € / day). If you use public transport 50 meters from the hotel, a bus linking the station to Grenoble railway station in 1 hour will save you from having to walk with your suitcase. These shuttles are in concordance with the arrivals and departures of the TGVs.
